Last April at Imagine 2018, Magento announced the creation of a new global Magento Association, in partnership with the Meet Magento Association team and the global Magento community.
I am pleased to report that I am selected as member of the a key team of seven experienced Magento community members who will serve on a Task Force to help lead and establish the new Magento Association. Working with launch partner SmithBucklin, the Task Force will finalize the mission and vision for the new Association, collaborate and draft the Association bylaws and articles of incorporation, establish the strategic plan, as well as operating budget for 2019 and review nominations and interview the Magento Association Founding Board of Directors

Besides me the task force consists of Gabriel Guarino, Brian Lange, Susan Peterson, Alessandro Ronchi, Danny Verkade and Jenna Warren.
I'm very excited to be part of this great challenge and opportunity for the next chapter of the Magento community. If you have any questions or want to discuss the Magento Association: we have a dedicated subforum.

Recently I've seen some (often absolute) statements going around, generally in the line of "open source commerce platforms are a terrible idea". Now of course different solutions always have different pros and cons.
A hierarchy of evidence (or levels of evidence) is a heuristic used to rank the relative strength of results obtained from scientific research. I've created a version of this chart/pyramid applied to CRO which you can see below. It contains the options we have as optimizers and tools and methods we often use to gather data.
